La Bufadora

 

La Bufadora is a one-of-a-kind blowhole or a water geyser that can be found off the coast of Ensenada.

 

When visiting Ensenada, various tour packages are offered which includes a trip to La Bufadora. It’s also easy to visit on your own with a car. Or there are also public buses that can take you from downtown Ensenada to Maneadero, where you can catch the bus directly to la Bufadora.

 

If you have a car, simply head south on the highway out of Ensenada and follow the signs. It’s about a 45 minute to an hour long drive. On the way up, you will be able to take in some spectacular ocean views as the road winds up high seaside mountains with some gorgeous panoramic views. It’s a nice little daytime excursion to escape the crowds of Ensenada.

Upon arriving in La Bufadora, there are restaurants, food stands and souvenir shops.
